Sam {Trash the Dress} Southern Alberta Wedding Photographer
I have been DYING to do a "trash the dress" photoshoot for awhile now, and finally got my chance, thanks to the lovely Sam :) It was so much fun! I could have spent hours and hours with Sam taking photos. This is only Part 1. Sam also agreed that she would go in the water for me! I can not WAIT for that photoshoot!
Dave & CayLee {Engagement} Southern Alberta Wedding Photographer
I have decided that I am in LOVE with engagement photography! It's just so wonderful to photograph couples when they are still in that "I'm engaged and so in love" stage. When you start posing newly engaged couples and you see the look of love in their eyes when they look at eachother, that's what inspires me! I think it is wonderful when you can find your soul mate. I love capturing that love between two people.
Dave & CayLee were the very example of what inspires me. When they looked at eachother, you knew they were meant to be. I can not WAIT for their wedding next summer!
Brooke
I am a huge fan of the whimsical world. I am also a huge vintage fan, and I wanted to do a photoshoot that mixed the two together. So, as usual when I get an idea for a photoshoot, I call up my good friend Brooklynne. We went down to the Provincial park and found a wonderful fantasy like setting. Brooklynne is such an amazing little model and can become almost any character I wish! We ended up spending about 2 hours down at the park taking photos and practicing with my new Canon 580EX II flash.
Ian & Delaney {August 20, 2010} Lethbridge Wedding Photographer
Ian and Delaney's wedding was such a lovely wedding, and everyone was so co-operative that it made the day go by super smooth. The day did start off a little sketchy though. When we woke up the wedding morning the weather was, well, smokey. Some forest fires out west had caused a haze over the province. I was so hoping the smoke wouldn't be too thick for us for photo taking. Our luck, once the formal session started the smoke seemed to lift a bit and actually made for an interesting and inspiring background! I had so much fun with this shoot! I even got to be in a limo for the first time, and had some ideas and techniques that I was super excited to try out. Thanks to the two of you for letting me be a part of your special day!
Jamie & Brett {July 24, 2010} Southern Alberta Wedding Photographer
Jamie was the first bride to ask me to photograph her wedding. I was so honored that she would pick me knowing it would be one of my first weddings. And boy, was it a TON of fun! It was a beautiful wedding on a beautiful summer day! Jamie's fiance (now husband) is really into golfing, and they asked if I could incorporate some golf-theme photos into the session. I love it when clients give me a bit of a challenge and stretch my creative ablilities :-) I also love being able to fit personality into any photo session I do. The uniqueness of every person is so inspiring and I love being able to capture their personalities. Thank you two for letting me be a part of your day. It was definately a blast!
Rochelle & Cody {July 17, 2010} Southern Alberta Wedding Photographer
Rochelle and Codys wedding was my first wedding, and what a great time that was! The wedding was country/western inspired and the decor was very neat! Rochelle had her horse walk her half way down the aisle and also requested that most of the formal photos would be with their horses that they have had ever since they were little. The horses were not so co-operative, but we did get a few shots in that I love! The horses in the photos really added to that western feel. Cody and Rochelle had been together for about 10 years before they got married, and while photographing them I could see the deep love they had for eachother, and for their beautiful little daughter. The wedding was so emotional. I don't think there was a dry eye in the crowd! It was really amazing. Thanks you two for letting me be a part of your day!
