Daxton Turns One! ~ Cake Smash! ~ Southern Alberta Photographer

I met Dax's mom and dad at Joey and Sarah's wedding. I was so excited when she asked me to photograph their son for his one year session! Daxton was a blast to photograph for his one year cake smash session! It's always fun to see how each little one will react to their cake smashing. 

He started off by picking each yellow dot off the cake.

Then he seemed to be more interested in painting the floor and himself with the icing rather than eating his cake! 

Mommy was just waiting for him to dig in! In the end, Daxton was right in, destroying his cake!

I had the pleasure of photographing this little family again. I love when I can follow my clients throughout the milestones in their lives! 

We ended up in a beautiful yard on a gorgeous fall day and the light was perfection. We couldn't have asked for a better fall evening.

We had to sneak in a few with daddy as well! I love how they turned out. The photographs of a family interacting are always my favorites.
